Selected pieces. The collector’s choice

10th anniversary of the Mascort Foundation. 2007-2017

A book-catalogue to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the creation of the Foundation, with a selection of 130 pieces from the Mascort collection, which includes ceramics, furniture and jewellery, as well as paintings, drawings, sculptures, engravings, precious metalwork and weapons, mostly dating from the Middle Ages to the first decades of the 20th century. The exhibition of the same name and the book have been curated by Rosa Maria Creixell, doctor in History of Art and lecturer at Barcelona University. The foreword to the book is by Ramón Mascort and it includes a text by Professor Bonaventura Bassegoda on collecting. The texts have been translated into Catalan and English.
